Every time you purchase a ticket, you're entered to win half the jackpot! The other half will support Manitobans living with an intellectual disability and give them the confidence to take on any challenge – in sport and in life!

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Special Olympics Manitoba (SOM) was forced to cancel all fundraising events, resulting in a significant loss of revenue.  Furthermore, the suspension of all in-person sport programing and competitions for our athletes has been devastating. 

Our mission continues … enriching the lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities.  We are working hard to address the loss of community and impact of social isolation on our athletes through the creation and development of new online, virtual and @home opportunities to ensure our athletes continue to experience and benefit from the transformative power and joy of sport. 

This shift in new programming will be costlier than ever, so the need for funding remains.  Investing in new programming will not only fill the immediate gap of in-person activities, but will add to our offerings for years to come.  

Our athletes are particularly vulnerable right now; keeping them active and connected to one another is our focus, as we work towards our ultimate goal of returning to play, in-person in a safe, healthy and secure environment. 

All proceeds from the 2020 50/50 for Special Olympics Manitoba campaign will support these efforts.
